Through a simple and enjoyable audio teaching style, this course will introduce the student to the various stylistic periods of classical music, from Bach’s preludes to Beethoven’s symphonies and Stravinsky’s operas. This course is ideal for adults interested in classical music, as well as for advanced students that wish to complement their studies.

The Advanced Music History Course is suitable for those who want to explore all the facts and details of classical music. It is meticulously divided into 3 modules that focus on at least two stylistic periods of the history of classical music. There will be an introduction to the various elements of music theory (including melody, rhythm, pitch and harmony), in order to provide the basics and the essential vocabulary to understand and appreciate any type of music. In this course, students will be immersed in music so they can study each one of these periods in depth.
